誰にでも何らかの欲望はあります。
欲望は罪だという言い方をする人もいますが、欲望があるからこそ人はその欲望を達成させる為に成長出来るのではないかと私は思います。
アメリカではどのような言い方をするのでしょうか？
⑴Desire: the starting point of all achievement.
「欲望: それは全ての成果の出発点である。」
⑵Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion and knowledge.
「人の振る舞いは、欲望と感情と知識によって表されるものである。」
⑶Always desire to learn something useful.
「いつも役立つ何かを学ぼうとする欲求を持て。」
⑷Love and desire are the spirit’s wings to great deeds.
「愛と欲望は、素晴らしい行いをする為の心の中の翼だ。」
⑸I once had a thousand desires but in my one desire to know you, all melts away.
「私にはたくさんの欲望があったけど、

⑹A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.

まとめ
達成したい目標や夢があるからこそ欲望が生まれるのです。
だから人は欲望に忠実であっても良いと私は思うのです。
他人の夢や欲望を批判する事なく、自分の欲望に向き合い正直になると、本来の自分のパワーが出てくるのかもしれません。
