今の時期、水が全くない私の庭、ここテキサスでもきれいな蛍が飛んでいるのが見られ、とてもロマンチックです。
蛍と言うとやはり日本のアニメ映画「火垂るの墓」でしょう。涙なくしては観れない映画ですね。

蛍の光は挨拶のために放たれ、プロポーズの光、刺激された時の光、敵を驚かせるための光の3種類があり、オスとメスがお互い相手を間違えないように、光の色が違っていたり、点滅するパターンも違っているそうです。
